Superdelegates- Take ACTION - SIGN PETITION!!!!!

Hi,

You've probably heard about the "superdelegates" who could end up deciding the Democratic nominee.

The superdelegates are under lots of pressure right now to come out for one candidate or the other. We urgently need to encourage them to let the voters decide between Clinton and Obama—and then to support the will of the people.

PS- This establishment that creates an unfair balance in the presidential nomination race needs to be reformed. Just as fraudulent voting machines have caused an upset in the balance of fairness in elections, and as the Electoral College actually decides the President of the US, which violates the rights of the Citizens to choose their own leader, the practice of allowing superdelegates to ultimately choose the front running candidate must be changed. Finally!!! Some, 'limited' redemption!

Dear friends, Thursday February 14, 2008 congress finally made some limited headway regarding their failed attempts to subpoena White House officials to testify. They have done so without the support of the Attorney General Michael Mukasey, No Suprise! Good old Bush thinks that his executive privileges supersede the US Constitution and Mukasey just happens to agree. Bush has defiantly ordered his cabinet members to ignore federal subpoenas to testify in front of the US Congress regarding many allegations of White House Corruption in regards mainly to the firing of 10 US Attorneys last year. Well, the Congress can have the officials arrested and bypass the failed justice system. The following from Democrats.com/unity is some proof. Please take action this week as most US Congress members will be home in their own districs in preparation for the full on election period. 100 congress members support is needed to floor impeachment for Dick Cheney and to take action against the WHITE HOUSE for its open defiance to the law and the Constitution of this great nation.:!!!!!::

Something very important happened in Congress on Thursday, thanks to all of your emails and calls. After 7 years of cowering in fear of every dictatorial demand from Bush and Cheney, House Democrats finally rose up and said NO.

First, House Democrats refused to give immunity to the telecom giants for illegally wiretapping the calls and emails of every American - despite two Bush press conference hissyfits and endless Corporate Media lies.

Second, House Democrats declared Harriet Miers and Josh Bolten to be in contempt of Congress for rejecting subpoenas to testify about the U.S. Attorney scandal, despite a faux-angry walkout by Republicans. Watch Rep. Robert Wexler's excellent floor speech.

Could this be the start of holding George Bush and Dick Cheney accountable for their innumerable High Crimes, ultimately through impeachment?

The main problem we face is time. Since this is an election year, Congress will stop legislating and start campaigning full-time in May. Since impeachment hearings take time, those hearings must begin now.

Bent On Iranian Invasion!!! WTH!!!!

OMG!!!! What is happening here? Seriously, George Bush Secretly, almost, signs a deal with Malikai to have permanent Army Bases in Iraq. Where is Congress, with their record of Zero Majority votes to over-ride GW's Veto. GW and co. are allowed to continue to disregard moral or law to abide by their Corporate swine objective. To fund defense contractors and weapons manufacturers, and to insure oil prices can remain extremely high and rise faster. Now the White House has continually disregarded Subpoenas and has condoned or ordered the destruction of videotapes that could prove the innocence of the individuals who have supposedly tortured prisoners. I just hope to God or whomever you believe in that more citizens of this Nation wake up to the BS and control tactics of the Bush Terror and Fear projection Government. Fear is what drives war, now we must fear Global Terror..... Well, If believing this bs, submitting to the Terror and allowing the government to run out of control means I should feel obligated to give up my rights and privacy, than obviously our government is taking the opposite action necessary. Bin Laden has been all but forgotten. Now our Enemy Global Terrorist is Iran who has been proven innocent of A Nuclear Weapons Program for years, since 2003. Kudos to Naomi Wolf

Naomi Wolf is a courageous woman. I heard of her for the first time this past weekend on NPR weekend edition. She has written a book titled The End of America, "A Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot", in which she highlights the Ten signs that come into play the ending of Democratic Rule. These signs were prevelant in history prior to the ruling and takeover of Joseph Stalin and of Adolph Hitler. Our country under the current administration has exhibited many of the 10 tell-tail signs that appear before the current system of government is dissolved, in the name of supposed peace and protection of the people. Look at what has happened in Pakistan by General Musharif. Look at what has happened in Burma with the pressures of rising democratic thought. We as a country need to wake up. The wool has been sheared down over our eyes. Our media has been mired with corruption and greed and idealism, they do not report real news anymore. They report stories. Why don't they center on the corruption i our government? That is their job, is it not, to report to the people the truth of what is going on behind the scenes. Not to bow to the will of the administration as so many in our congress have. Lead democrats have given in to the power and will of Bush. Wake Up America....
